Dive into Easter delight with kids Easter baskets! 🐰✨ Creating eggstraordinary memories is a cherished tradition, and I've carefully crafted a basket full of joy, blending fun and practical goodies for your little ones.
A little backstory on the practical part… My daughters are 8, 10, and 12, so I’ve spent many years now putting together Easter baskets for them. One thing I realized early on is that I’d rather fill my kids Easter baskets with a few quality gifts they’ll like and get a lot of use out of — instead of a bunch of junky toys they’ll lose interest in quickly or will break in a few weeks.
Seriously, you don’t need to go overboard on your kids Easter baskets! I have seen some wildly extravagant Easter Baskets on social media, but that’s not how I roll 🤣 My kids are perfectly happy with hair ties, pjs, chocolates, and some of the ideas I am sharing below.
For example, Easter is the perfect time to stock your kids up with warm weather faves, like a new bathing suit, goggles, flip flops, and toys or games for the pool. All of these items are fun and practical!
Other ideas to include in the Easter Basket are a new family game, activity books (great for those summer travel plans), or a bracelet-making kit. I also always include super practical ideas like fun bandages, bath or shower favorites (think bath bombs and body wash, and lip balms (bonus if they have SPF in them).
For those seeking a children’s Bible, we highly recommend the ones listed below. These have all been beloved favorites through different ages and stages, each cherished and read nightly since my kids were little.
The one thing that might surprise you that you won’t see much of in my kids Easter Baskets are Easter-themed items. I feel this at every holiday, by the time it eventually rolls around, we are over it 🤣. I will usually add an Easter bath bomb and bunny chocolates, but that's about it. Want to give your kids Easter-themed items? Put together a cute basket filled with Easter goodies at the beginning of Lent, similar to what I do at Halloween with the Boo Basket.
